The funding clock is ticking!

Significant funding to support employers of any size close in just in 29 days (31st March 2022)!

Aligned with Federal Government priorities to increase employment and upskill our workforce; eligible employees would receive 50% wage rebates for 12 months, with up to $28,000 per employee available!

Additional Federal and State incentives for training employees remain available, making this stimulus a literal game-changer for businesses that are able to capitalise on the offer.

What are the eligibility criteria?

The subsidy is available to employers of any size, industry or geographic location.

Your business may be eligible if:

  • you engage an Australian Apprentice between 5 October 2020 and 31 March 2022
  • your Australian Apprentice or trainee is undertaking a Certificate II or higher qualification and has a training contract that is formally approved by the state training authority.

Remember, an apprentice or trainee is the technical name given to any employee that is engaged in a vocational qualification whilst supported by their employer. In most instances, this arrangement does not affect the employment conditions or pay rates of employees!

Essentially, if you have employees that you would like to upskill in any way, this program could provide you with the incentive and capacity to do so.
